Position Overview:
- As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that address communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- You will work closely with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, residents, and families to maximize functional outcomes and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities
SLP: Speech-Language Pathologist:
- Evaluate residents and establish individualized treatment plans
- Provide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing therapy services
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning activities
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional practice standards
- Support positive clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction
Qualifications
SLP: Speech-Language Pathologist:
- M.A. or M.S. Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved school required.
- State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
- Clinical Competence Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association preferred.
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required.
- Current, valid CPR/BLS credential.
- Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others required.
- Verification of qualifications by the State Department of Health
- Rehabilitation Therapies (license number/certification number) required.
- Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.

- This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
