Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Leave of Absence Administrator in MN! The Leave of Absence Administrator is responsible for administering and managing employee leave programs in compliance with federal, state, and company policies. This role serves as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and third-party leave administrators regarding leaves such as FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other company-sponsored leave programs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, disability, parental leave, military leave, and personal leave.
  • Review leave requests, determine eligibility, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
  • Communicate clearly with employees, managers, and HR partners regarding leave status, requirements, and return-to-work expectations.
  • Coordinate with 3rdparty leave administrators and payroll teams.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee leave records in HR systems.
  • Track leave balances, intermittent leave usage, and return-to-work timelines.
  • Manage the interactive process for ADA accommodations in partnership with HR and legal as needed.
  • Ensure timely distribution and collection of required documentation (e.g., medical certifications, approval notices).
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws.
  • Provide training and guidance to managers and employees on leave processes and policies.
  • Support audits, reporting, and metrics related to leave administration.
  • Provide support to the HRConnect team as needed.

You Must Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in leave administration, HR operations, or benefits
  • Strong knowledge of leave laws such as FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and state-specific leave requirements
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and/or leave management platforms
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working with third-party leave administrators
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation processes

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $65k - $75k. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
