Plant Engineer

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will provide
  project support for Burns Harbor, IN, Gary, IN, and associated satellite
  plant operations.
• Execute
  the Management of Change (MOC) work process, ensuring all changes to
  systems, equipment, and processes are properly evaluated, documented, and
  implemented in compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Lead
  and support capital projects, process improvements, and infrastructure upgrades
  from concept through completion.
• Further, you will troubleshoot
  plant equipment and systems to resolve reliability and performance issues.
• Identify
  and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance safety,
  efficiency, and cost performance.
• Monitor
  equipment performance data and drive corrective actions for underperforming
  assets.
• And you will maintain
  and update documentation including P&IDs, SWDs, and site-specific operating
  procedures, in accordance with MOC requirements.
• Travel
  approximately 15% to support multi-site operations.

What makes you great

• You have a Bachelor's
  degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related
  field).
• Minimum
  of 3-5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills that strengthen collaboration across operational and technical teams.
• Computer
  proficiency with Microsoft products.
• Working
  knowledge of Management of Change (MOC) processes.
• Ability
  to travel approximately 15% of the time.
• Flexibility in work schedule to support operations during startup, shutdown or unplanned events.
