What you will enjoy doing*
- You will provide
project support for Burns Harbor, IN, Gary, IN, and associated satellite plant operations. - Execute
the Management of Change (MOC) work process, ensuring all changes to systems, equipment, and processes are properly evaluated, documented, and implemented in compliance with safety and operational standards. - Lead
and support capital projects, process improvements, and infrastructure upgrades from concept through completion. - Further, you will troubleshoot
plant equipment and systems to resolve reliability and performance issues. - Identify
and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost performance. - Monitor
equipment performance data and drive corrective actions for underperforming assets. - And you will maintain
and update documentation including P&IDs, SWDs, and site-specific operating procedures, in accordance with MOC requirements. - Travel
approximately 15% to support multi-site operations.
What makes you great
- You have a Bachelor's
degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field). - Minimum
of 3-5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. - You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills that strengthen collaboration across operational and technical teams.
- Computer
proficiency with Microsoft products. - Working
knowledge of Management of Change (MOC) processes. - Ability
to travel approximately 15% of the time. - Flexibility in work schedule to support operations during startup, shutdown or unplanned events.
