Job Summary: Ensures all services listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) are performed
in a satisfactory manner.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Inspector evaluates quality, environmental, safety and health plans to ensure compliance with contract
specifications and applicable regulations.
* Inspects and evaluates aircraft structures, powered/non-powered ground equipment, associated
support equipment, functional components, tools, equipment and a variety of goods and services for
conformity to established standards and written guidance.
* Reads and interprets manufacturers and aircraft's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical
data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine the quality and serviceability of repairs.
* Specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and assists in determining how often
inspections will be accomplished.
* Communicates deficiencies to process owner, maintains Quality Control files and documents results of
all inspections and audits.
* Investigates and reports all incidents and accidents within the scope of the contract.
* Performs internal and external quality audits IAW AS9110.
* Will train other quality inspectors on their individual Subject Matter Expert areas.
* Provides technical guidance to lower-level technicians as required.
* Will be required to obtain and maintain special certifications as directed by management.
* Reviews and completes forms documentation pertinent to aircraft or equipment maintenance, enters
maintenance actions into applicable MIS system and will make entries in forms, logs, records, or
electronic equivalent as required.
* Will be required to monitor and lead teams to perform more complex aircraft inspections.
* May be required to aid writing/initiating engineering technical assistance requests.
* Strict adherence to aircraft technical data is required.
* Complete all assignments and tasks as directed by managers, supervisors and leads.
* Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms).
* Performs vehicle use inspections, cleaning, and wash.
* Performs any other supportive duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:
* High school diploma or GED is required. Mathematics skills are desirable
* Minimum of 8 years performing as an F-16 APG technician and 2 years of Quality Assurance is required.
* Working knowledge of MIS systems and forms documentation, and strict adherence to technical data is
required.
* Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special
operating instructions in the same language.
* Must be willing to deploy to support off-station requirements.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher, if required).
* Must be able to, if required, obtain, and maintain a government driver's license. If controlled movement
area (CMA) access is required must be able to pass color vision test.
Working Conditions:
* Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties.
* Environment ranges from office, hangar and flightline and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping,
bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
