PennAero is hiring an HR Generalist at our Weldmac Manufacturing location
in El Cajon, CA. Weldmac Manufacturing delivers complex formed and welded metal
assemblies for aerospace, defense, space launch, and power-generation

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and
proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team in the aerospace
and defense industry. The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in
supporting various HR functions and initiatives within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Assist
in recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes,
scheduling interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
Coordinate
new employee onboarding activities including orientation sessions,
paperwork completion, and introduction to company policies and procedures.
Process
termination documentation as requested by the HR Manager.
Maintain
employee records and ensure accuracy and completeness of HR databases and
systems.
Handle
employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other related
matters.
Assist
in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance,
retirement plans, and other employee perks.
Support
HR initiatives related to performance management, employee engagement, and
talent development.
Coordinate
and facilitate employee training and development programs in collaboration
with department managers.
Assist
in implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with
relevant regulations and laws.
Prepare
HR-related reports and presentations for management as needed.
Participate
in HR projects and initiatives to support organizational goals and
objectives.
Assist
in payroll processing and corrections when needed (through ADP).
Additional
tasks as needed.

This role is required to be onsite 5 days a week at the El Cajon, CA site.


Qualifications

Qualifications:
Bachelor's
degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
1-3
years of previous experience in human resources in a manufacturing
environment.
Knowledge
of HR processes and best practices, including recruitment, onboarding,
benefits administration, and employee relations.
Strong
organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and
manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact
effectively with employees at all levels.
Proficiency
in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Attention
to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Ability
to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with
discretion.
Proactive
and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced
environment.

This role involves access to technical data and/or hardware subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). In order to comply with these laws, employment is contingent upon verifying your status as a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. * 120.15, or obtaining any required government authorization.

Compensation

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000.

Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
