Job Description The Johnson County District Attorney's Office is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Trial Assistant to provide critical support in the preparation and presentation of criminal cases. This position plays an important role in assisting attorneys with case preparation, evidence organization, courtroom support, witness coordination, and administrative tasks related to hearings, jury trials, and post-trial matters.
Conducts legal and factual research into statutes, cases, and records using a variety of legal resources; verifies citations in legal memoranda and briefs; summarizes legal documents.
Job Requirements Minimum Job Requirements: Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency.
