The Mortgage Processor/Closer completes all necessary activities to process, prepare legal documents, and facilitate closings for conventional residential mortgage loans in compliance with secondary market guidelines. The Mortgage Processor/Closer is responsible for an average of approximately 25 loan files during a regular 40-hour work week. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. Prior mortgage processing and documentation experience is required; loan closing experience is desired. Requires effective knowledge of mortgage documents and their contents. Prior knowledge of Mortgagebot and Fiserv is helpful for this role. Requires effective knowledge of FHLMC, FNMA, WHEDA, FHA, and Fed VA. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: This position is demanding in terms of deadlines and strict documentation requirements, which will require individuals with demonstrated ability in these areas and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
