The Deputy Fire Marshal will work independently at times under the direction of the Fire Marshal and Assistant Fire Marshal, relying on experience, knowledge and judgment to accomplish fire prevention and life safety throughout the Utah State University community. Candidates must have the strength necessary to perform all duties, including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects. The role also requires the ability to assume positions such as crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
