Are you an experienced accounting leader looking to make an impact within a growing, mission-driven organization? Gorman & Company is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join our corporate office in Oregon, Wisconsin. This hybrid position offers a flexible schedule with four days in the office and one remote workday each week. In this role, you'll oversee a team of two accounting professionals while helping drive financial accuracy, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement across our organization.

What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day corporate accounting operations, including general ledger, cash management, and transaction processing

  • Oversee monthly and annual close processes, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and variance analysis

  • Review journal entries, payroll reconciliations, cash disbursements, and banking transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals while providing coaching and performance feedback

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, internal controls, and regulatory filings

  • Partner with leadership to improve accounting processes and support strategic business initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and financial reporting standards

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within real estate, construction, or corporate accounting environments

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience with a passion for developing team members

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and financial analysis with exceptional attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary starting at $120-$125,000 annually
