Location: On-site, Melbourne, FL
Employment Type: Contract to Direct
Industry: Electronic Manufacturing
Compensation: $23.00/hr (depending on experience)
Shift: 1st
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
About the Opportunity:
The Failure Analysis Technician is responsible to provide first level technical support to the manufacturing process. Provide Failure Analysis on printed circuit boards and product level assemblies utilizing system diagnostics and product specific procedures for Mack Technologies Florida, Inc. Reports to the Failure Analysis Supervisor.
What You'll Do:
  • Diagnose and isolate root causes of defective components, sub-assemblies, and products using test procedures, schematics, diagnostics, and technical documentation.
  • Set up and operate complex test equipment while supporting in-circuit and functional testing across manufacturing operations.
  • Control, document, and process non-conforming materials while ensuring quality standards for work-in-process.
  • Support engineering and new product development through implementation of test tools, procedures, and technical process improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO and job-specific procedures, participate in quality/client meetings, and assist with training and general operational support as needed.

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in system test and debugging to the component level
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with component value identification and other component nomenclature
  • Minimum 1 year of experience utilizing trouble shooting tools such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, microscope, logic analyzers.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Capable of performing job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions and visual aids.
  • Knowledge and experience working with electro-mechanical products.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and IPC-610 requirements.
  • Ability to interpret detailed drawings, schematics and diagrams.
  • Business tools/ applications knowledge (i.e. Email, Excel, MS Word etc.)
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively as a team member.
  • Experience with high-volume work.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and quickly with a high degree of accuracy
