The Building People are seeking a qualified Mid-Level Application Developer to support immediate IBM Maximo solution delivery as well as other COTS solution technologies to support a growing portfolio of federal government, local government, non-profit, and commercial customers - all while operating remotely.

Responsibilities:



  • Apply engineering theory and principles to problems, usually under the direction of engineering staff.
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
  • High School & 5+ years of related experience, 6 years' work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.



Required Experience:



  • Basic understanding of Maximo 7.x configuration and support concepts (e.g., Integration Framework, reporting tools, or scripting)
  • Familiarity with Maximo tools such as Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer, or Database Configuration is a plus
  • Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python, with exposure to databases (e.g., SQL)

  • Interest in learning Maximo deployment practices and pursuing relevant certifications over time


  • Secret Clearance


  • Full Time Remote with expected little to no travel
