What You Will Do:

As a Plumbing Service Technician your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Installs, maintains, and repairs commercial plumbing systems including piping, fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and backflow prevention devices in commercial and industrial facilities.

• Performs preventative maintenance tasks on plumbing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

• Diagnoses and troubleshoots complex plumbing system malfunctions, identifying potential problems to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.

• Conducts thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify deficiencies, inefficiencies, and potential areas for improvement.

• Provides detailed repair estimates and recommendations to commercial clients, and communicates effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Coordinates with building managers, facility owners, and other stakeholders to schedule service appointments and minimize disruptions to operations.

• Maintains a properly clean and stocked service vehicle; participates in periodic inventory and truck inspections.

• Keeps accurate records of all service calls, including parts used, labor hours, and equipment history.

• Stays current on industry standards, codes, regulations, and emerging technologies related to plumbing systems.

• Adheres to safety protocols and best practices at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA guidelines.

• Maintains tools and machinery in good condition and uses all tools in a safety-conscious manner.

• Collaborates with other team members to share knowledge, provide support, and ensure timely completion of projects.

• Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional, and courteous manner.

• Completes all required and assigned training for this role.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

Required experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Plumbing Service Technician or equivalent position providing similar work experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

• Advanced knowledge of all plumbing system components, including national and local plumbing codes.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex plumbing issues and implementing effective solutions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and work in various environments.
