Union Lettershop Shipper About the Role

The Lettershop Shipper is the final checkpoint for products leaving the warehouse. In this role, you will ensure quality control by verifying all shipping information and overseeing the accurate assembly of materials. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to maintain an organized and efficient workspace. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence and upholding company standards for safety and customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Verify all shipping documentation to ensure accuracy before the product leaves the warehouse.
  • Assemble and stage materials for shipment, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
  • Maintain shipping equipment through routine upkeep and notify supervisors of any service or repair needs.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized to support efficient operations.
  • Follow instructions from the Laser Room Manager or designated supervisor, while demonstrating initiative in resolving problems independently.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and on time, adhering to established procedures.
  • Maintain courteous interactions with team members and other employees.
  • Comply with safety policies and attendance requirements.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Strong operational and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to follow work orders and written or verbal instructions.
  • Capable of diagnosing and solving job-related problems.
  • Experience with measurement tools, including rulers, gauges, and meters.
  • Proficiency in operating computers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and picking equipment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively on both routine and complex tasks.
  • Flexibility and willingness to accept supervision.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and normal (or correctable) color vision.
