The Role

The Technical Sales Enablement Manager serves as a critical bridge between Presidio's technical capabilities and commercial go-to-market execution, playing a key role in developing our product management functionality where products are services. This position combines deep technical acumen with enablement expertise to ensure sales teams, solution architects, and technical sellers can effectively articulate value, demonstrate capabilities, and drive customer outcomes across Presidio's broad set of practices / disciplines.

The Technical Sales Enablement Manager partners closely with subject matter experts, Services Product Managers, and GTM leaders to transform complex technical and sales content into engaging, structured learning experiences. This individual applies deep expertise in ADDIE/SAM methodologies, adult learning principles, and modern learning modalities to deliver high-quality curricula that accelerate readiness and drive business results. This role develops and delivers technical enablement programs that translate complex technical capabilities into compelling business value propositions. The Manager creates technical content, training programs, demonstration environments, and enablement resources that empower revenue teams to engage confidently in technical conversations, position solutions effectively, and accelerate deal velocity across healthcare, telecommunications, education, and government verticals.

This role typically owns 4-6 major curriculum development projects simultaneously, requiring exceptional project management skills, stakeholder collaboration abilities, and the capacity to balance strategic thinking with hands-on development work. This position is essential to scaling Presidio's technical selling capabilities, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning, and driving adoption of new service offerings and technical methodologies across the organization.

Responsibilities Include:



  • Design, develop and maintain comprehensive technical enablement content including solution playbooks, technical discovery frameworks, proof-of-concept methodologies, and competitive technical positioning for Presidio's service portfolio
  • Create and deliver technical training programs for account executives, solution architects, and technical sellers covering cloud platforms, AI/automation capabilities, application modernization approaches, and industry-specific technical requirements
  • Design and build demonstration environments, reference architectures, and technical proof points that enable sales teams to showcase capabilities and accelerate technical validation cycles
  • Partner with Services Product Managers to translate technical features and capabilities into customer-facing value propositions, use cases, and business outcome frameworks
  • Develop value engineering tools including ROI calculators, business case templates, total cost of ownership models, and technical-to-business benefit translation frameworks
  • Support complex deal teams with technical enablement resources, competitive intelligence, proof-of-concept planning, and solution positioning guidance for strategic opportunities
  • Create industry-specific technical knowledge bases covering healthcare, telecommunications, education, and government sectors including compliance requirements, technical architectures, and regulatory considerations
  • Maintain technical competitive intelligence including feature comparisons, architectural differentiators, and technical positioning against key competitors in application modernization and cloud services markets
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Solutions Architecture teams to identify enablement gaps, capture best practices, and develop reusable technical assets from successful customer engagements
  • Develop technical onboarding programs for new solution architects and technical sellers including certification paths, hands-on labs, and competency assessments
  • Drive technical product launch enablement including release training, technical documentation, demonstration assets, and go-to-market technical messaging for new service offerings
  • Measure and track technical enablement effectiveness including certification completion rates, technical win rates, proof-of-concept success rates, and technical content utilization metrics
  • Maintain partnerships with technology vendors and platform providers to ensure access to latest technical resources, training materials, and demonstration environments for Presidio teams


Technology/Area of Specialization



  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures with focus on enterprise migration and modernization patterns
  • Strong understanding of AI and automation technologies including machine learning platforms, intelligent automation tools, process mining, and AI-driven application development approaches
  • Proficiency in application modernization methodologies including containerization, microservices architectures, serverless computing, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines
  • Knowledge of enterprise IT service delivery models including professional services methodologies, implementation frameworks, and service lifecycle management approaches
  • Understanding of industry-specific technical requirements for healthcare (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR), telecommunications (network virtualization, 5G), education (student information systems), and government (FedRAMP, FISMA) sectors
  • Proficiency with sales enablement platforms such as Highspot, Brainshark, and Bigtincan for content delivery and learner engagement
  • Familiarity with sales enablement platforms, learning management systems, content management tools, and technical demonstration technologies
  • Expert proficiency with eLearning authoring tools including Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Adobe Captivate for developing interactive learning content
  • Strong experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for content publishing, learner tracking, assessment administration, and reporting
  • Experience with video production including scripting, storyboarding, recording, and editing for learning content


Required Skills and Professional Experience:



    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
    • 10-12 years of experience in technical roles including solutions engineering, technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or related positions in enterprise technology or professional services environments
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enablement, training, or instructional design roles focused on technical content and technical sales enablement
    • Proven track record developing and delivering technical enablement programs that measurably improved sales effectiveness and technical capabilities
    • Strong technical writing skills with portfolio of technical documentation, training materials, or enablement content
    • Relevant technical certifications preferred (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent cloud platform certifications)
    • Experience with enablement technologies including learning management systems, content management platforms, and demonstration tools

    Physical Requirements

    This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with standard computer workstation requirements including extended periods working at a computer terminal. The role requires ability to communicate effectively via phone, video conference, and in-person meetings. Travel requirements are moderate at less than 20% and may include attendance at regional sales meetings, customer engagements, industry conferences, and training events. Physical demands are typical of professional office work including sitting for extended periods, occasional standing/walking for presentations and training delivery, and ability to travel by various means of transportation.
