Summary
Under minimal supervision, perform complex scientific experiments for sponsored research projects, including compilation and analysis of data generated. Primary Responsibilities
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities
* Experience with rodent cancer models is essential. * Experience with preclinical imaging research, including MRI is essential. * Work requires definite skilled and accurate physical operations requiring some closely coordinated performance and manual dexterity. * Knowledge of biology, chemistry, mathematics, documentation, and records management. * Data utilization, complex problem solving, critical thinking, resource management, and writing skills. * Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Strong critical thinking, problem solving and attentiveness to detail required. Knowledge of scientific approach and methodologies. * Ability to develop and follow research methodology and protocol. Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise. Ability to read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures. Ability to design, organize, and coordinate scientific research projects. Qualifications

Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously. Work Environment
Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment. Sensory Acuity
Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
