*Job Title: Case Worker (Tax Resolution)* *Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused *Case Worker* to support individuals and businesses through the tax relief process. This role is responsible for managing client cases, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring a smooth and compliant path toward resolution. Ideal candidates will have experience in *tax resolution, case management, or high-volume client support environments*.
*Key Responsibilities* *Client Case Management* * Manage a high-volume caseload of clients with tax liabilities from onboarding through resolution * Conduct client consultations, gather financial documentation, and assess eligibility for available tax relief programs * Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates and setting clear expectations throughout the process *Communication & Support* * Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries via inbound and outbound calls * Build strong client relationships through professional, empathetic communication and proactive follow-up * Address client concerns, resolve issues, and ensure a positive overall experience *Collaboration & Case Coordination* * Partner with tax professionals, legal teams, and internal departments to develop and execute effective resolution strategies * Prepare and submit required documentation to the IRS and applicable state agencies * Ensure accuracy and completeness of all case files prior to submission *Documentation & Compliance* * Maintain detailed and accurate case records within CRM systems (e.g., IRSLogics or similar platforms) * Track case progress, follow-ups, and deadlines to ensure timely movement through each stage of the process * Ensure compliance with internal policies, IRS guidelines, and regulatory requirements *Team Support / Leadership (if applicable)* * Assist in training, mentoring, or supporting junior case workers * Help oversee workflow distribution and ensure team productivity and service standards are met *Required Skills & Qualifications* * Experience in *tax resolution, tax relief, or case management* * Hands-on experience with *IRSLogics* or similar CRM systems (e.g., IRS Solutions, PitBullTax, Ledger CRM) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage high-volume client interactions * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously * High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems *Preferred Qualifications* * 3+ years of experience in *case management or tax resolution* * Experience working in a *high-volume call center or client service environment* * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) *Experience Level* *Intermediate* *Job Type & Location*This is a Permanent position based out of Costa Mesa, CA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
