DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES & SCOPE:



  • Provide exceptional client service and manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting at Helix Electric
  • Lead or partner on cross-functional projects that benefit the broader Recruiting or HR organization
  • Lead the development and management of an array of strategies and action plans to meet short and long-term recruiting and sourcing needs and objectives of the organization/location supported
  • Monitor and report on the progress and success of strategies, plans and programs through the utilization of metrics and SLA's
  • Serve as point of contact to leaders within the Lines of Business for all recruiting matters
  • Create and implement strategic sourcing and recruiting strategies to meet client needs
  • Initiate, develop and maintain strong working relationships with managers, HR Business Partners, and other HR team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility
  • Conduct complete and detailed intake sessions, ensuring an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements
  • Identify opportunities to positively impact diversity hiring efforts
  • Build an effective pipeline of key talent available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit as required
  • Visit job sites to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture, talent needs, and to foster relationships
  • Use effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed, appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form, and timeliness on correspondence
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience for positions ranging from technical field, individual contributor, and leadership roles within the construction industry
  • Construction industry knowledge is a must
  • Collaborative and consultative in working with hiring leaders to drive synergies during the hiring process
  • Experience with government regulations relating to hiring practices, including but not limited to: OFCCP, EEO, and Affirmative Action
  • Experience or familiarity with applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to interface with all professional levels in a complex environment while driving results
  • Ability to effectively problem solve and assist with process improvement
  • This position involves some travel between our branches in Las Vegas, Reno, and Salt Lake City.
