Job Summary:
To support Territory by servicing existing accounts, maintaining long-term customer relationships, and providing outstanding customer service. To reinforce sales management practices to enhance all levels of sales and profit within the branch.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.
- Meet or exceed sales and profit goals established in consultation with branch management
- Travel throughout target regions, to present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
- Initiate sales process by scheduling appointments, and understanding customer account requirements
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
- Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
- Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
- Work with customer and company staff to establish new account, assist with maintaining and updating customer account information
- Identify and resolve client concerns
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, follow-up, and adherence to goals
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events
- Follow-up for collection of payment
- Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees
- Analyze market data to identify potential areas for business expansion
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
- Other duties as assigned
- Represent the company in a professional manner ensuring quality customer service both internally and externally
- Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures
- Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company
- Maintain a clean and organized company car
- Work overtime as needed
- Possess and maintain an unrestricted, valid driver's license
- Perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed in this job description in a manner that would not endanger the health or safety of the employee, other employees, customers, or members of the public
- Ensure customer account information is accurate in the system
- Maintain communication with management with regards to pricing issues in the marketplace
- Maintain communication with management by developing weekly itinerary and use of MAP reports

- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Teams
