Job Purpose:

SGS is seeking an Inventory Governance Managerto support our SGS organization. This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on; someone who anticipates needs, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates discretion, initiative, and strong analytical thinking.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Defines and oversees the execution of methods, tools, and systems that allow the operation to comply with the specific inventory governance requirements from customer, customer external auditing and internal policies.
  • Early identification of potential risk and liabilities from the administration of consigned and Sanmina owned inventory highlighting the process and execution gaps requiring attention.
  • In charge of managing inventory analysis and cycle count for the operation.
  • Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective of inventory controls.
  • Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development,and performance management of the staff.


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of work.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience including in management.
  • Deep understanding of inventory accounting principles to be able to assess and mitigate the risks for the company from the financial impact to P&L and balance sheet due to revaluation and adjustments from inventory transactions.
  • Strong management of spreadsheet (Excel and GoogleSheets), in order to be able conduct inventory impact analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP materials transactions and reporting.
  • Knowledge over inventory management practices.
  • Experience in leading Auditing to assure compliance of policies and standards.
  • Knowledge on Cycle Counting process execution and auditing.
  • Experience in ERP Transitioning reconciliation forensics.
  • Skilled leader capable to work with high to mid level managers, supervisors and materials handlers.
  • Solid communication skills able to clearly illustrate issues to collaborate with the owners of the operation, business, finance and customer in order to mitigate risks for the company and the customer.

Salary Range (annual): $110,000 - $130,000
