Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounting Clerk will support the accounting department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and reconciling accounts. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of day-to-day financial operations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
Account Payables will perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payables data.

• Facilitates payments to vendor, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
• AP assist with month-end closing
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Ability and willingness to perform as a team member on multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with high expectations for quality
• Ability to analyze information and use deductive reasoning
• Self-starter; highly motivated; able to work with minimal supervision
• Skill in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook,
• Spoken and written fluency in English

Requirements

• High School diploma
• 1-3 years of experience in account payables
• Understanding of basic accounting principals
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Self- motivated, deadline and detail oriented
