JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Administrative Coordinator is a vital partner in driving departmental success, ensuring seamless operations and strong communication across Johns Hopkins Care at Home and with external vendors and partners. Based in the executive office, this role offers close collaboration with senior leadership and high visibility across the organization. In this role, you'll take ownership of high-level administrative functions, including drafting and refining complex communications, managing reports, and implementing streamlined office procedures that enhance efficiency and timeliness. You'll also serve as a trusted resource to administrative and clerical staff, offering guidance and support, while working closely with leadership and reporting directly to a Director.



In addition, you'll play a central role in day-to-day operations-managing calendars, coordinating meetings and events, and organizing key documents and records. As a hub for communication, you'll connect teams, support presentations and departmental initiatives, and help move projects forward. This role also includes oversight of vendor coordination and invoice processing, along with creating a professional, welcoming experience for visitors and callers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required



Work Experience:



  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiar with databases and spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of customer service protocols
  • General budget awareness and understanding of how department processes impact budgets
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to interact with Hospital administration, staff, patients and families, as well as to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to plan, organize, complete and manage programs in the most efficient manner
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks and manage deadlines
  • Ability to identify and rectify discrepancies before they escalate, thereby maintaining the integrity and efficiency of administrative processes
  • Ability to work in metric driven environment with defined expectations for performance levels
  • Strong interpersonal and teamworking skills with the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats
  • Ability to maintain composure in high stress situations
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information and situations

Salary Range: Minimum 19.67/hour - Maximum 34.61/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
