Overview

This part-time position will require onsite presence at our facility in Highland Park.

The Mission Office / Employee Engagement Coordinator leads and organizes the site Mission Office activities, and communicates the culture and the STRIDES values for all internal audiences. This position is responsible for facilitating staff development and education by promoting an environment where people are developed to explore and apply their potential to realize their dreams and develop in their vocation. Collaborates with corporate teams, reporting and documentation for the Site Mission activities, and supervises the execution of activities.

Responsibilities

Lead and organize the Mission Office activities

    Provide leadership and structure by monitoring goals related to our mission and social responsibility program.
  • Develop strategies and projects to provide a values-oriented work environment in order to improve their workplace, physical health, mental and spiritual growth.
  • Participate in the MANCOM meetings and support the MANCOM through initiatives to strengthen their leadership and their role in a mission driven company.
  • Participate actively in the Mission Biweekly meetings.
  • Provide attention to employees to help them understand the importance of their role.
  • Maintain updated records about projects and activities.
  • Coordinate effective meetings.
  • Follow up on projects and tasks.
  • Facilitate a weekly/biweekly/monthly meeting with the Local Committee team to entrust the mission.
  • Participate actively in the development of each activity/project.
  • Coordinate, monitor and supervise the activities/projects of subordinates.
  • Manage all the tools the Mission Office assigns.

Communicate the culture and the STRIDES Values for all internal audiences

  • Coordinate and deliver internal communications strategy.
  • Provide support for consultation and feedback within the Qualfon family.
  • Build effective relationships and work closely with all departments.
  • Enable and facilitate effective employee engagement and work with key individuals.
  • Promote an environment where people are encouraged and given opportunities to share the mission, understand the values, plans and goals to improve their workplace, physical health, mental and spiritual growth.

  • Carry out a program of regular liaison with site heads and central office.
  • Deliver a Program of staff management communication and social events.
  • Compile information for the production and distribution of the site newsletter.
  • Provide training on internal communication tools, techniques and best practices.
  • Create content for newsletters, internal websites and e-mail communications and also
  • Create monthly advertisement to communicate activities and projects.
  • Publicize achievements and results, locally.
  • Maintain records with accuracy

Education

  • Facilitate the development of the staff in their vocation by means of the following activities:
    1. Coordinate the successful implementation of Values Formation Programs.
    2. Ensure that new hires are trained in the Values Program within 30 days of entering the company.
  • Encourage staff in learning humanistic themes.
  • Collaborate with the company' efforts to create a work environment attractive and stimulating to learn and grow as human beings.
  • Promote an environment where people are developed to explore and apply their potential to realize their dreams through:
    1. Values Formation Program
    2. Values Based Leadership
    3. Values Campaigns
    4. Contests
    5. Ongoing Formation plan
    6. Seminars (Human & Spiritual formation)
    7. Book-Club & Video (Human & Spiritual formation)

Caring

  • Collaborate with the Caring corporate team on the implementation of the initiatives in the site.
  • Promote an environment where people trust and support each other in a caring family manner.
  • Facilitate a biweekly/monthly meeting with the Caring team and follow up on the action items
  • Participate in a very active manner, on the coordination of the current and future subsidy programs:
    1. Benevolence program
    2. Conferences (health).
    3. Calamity Assistance.
    4. Sport Tournaments.
  • Promote spirituality among employees.
  • Coordinate and support activities and materials for spiritual growth (monthly mass, angelus, or ecumenical activities).
  • Maintain close and constant communication with the church authorities.
  • Coordinate logistics for celebrating.
  • Manage prayer rooms and chapels.
  • Monitor review and audit all subsidies and special programs on a monthly basis.
  • Document and track all processes for internal donations (e.g. equipment, resources, etc.).

G Giving

  • Promote an environment where people are involved beyond their daily work duties and actively participate in shaping the corporate culture and supporting our communities.
  • Promote monthly volunteering activities and time service from our employees.
  • Recruit volunteers (employees, family and community members) for projects and activities using appropriate promotion methods such as (e.g., individual letters, brochures or presentations at meetings).
  • Undertake the analysis and planning of volunteering projects (criteria to consider: Resources or materials, beneficiaries, place, cost, minimum of volunteers, Risk Policy, etc.).
  • Plan and create sustainable calendar projects and activities in line with the "giving" goals.
  • Prepare inputs for volunteers (refreshments, transportation, volunteering t-shirts, hydration, etc.).
  • Strategic association with institutions (establishes and maintains strong relationships with institutions and local government units).
  • Participate in consultation, meetings, forums that would involve in company's goal to serve and create strong public image.
  • Plan, promote, administer and control Volunteer activities (Education, Environment, -Elderly, Orphans, Emergency Homes, etc. on a monthly basis as well as
  • Community Immersion
  • Medical Missions
  • Christian Missions
  • Apostolates (oversees Qualfon Choir and its related activities
  • "Adopt a Child" Program

Budget coordination

  • Prepare, submit and control the monthly and yearly budget, creating and implementing programs/activities that massively promote our mission.
  • Develop and schedule a work plan in accordance with specifications and budget limitations.
  • Ensure that budget allocations are not overspent.
  • Audit all budget related activities to assure accuracy and assure that budget allocations are not overspent.
  • Document and track all processes for external donations (e.g. equipment, resources, etc.).

Reports and documentation

  • Submit on time and accurate reports of monthly activities to the Mission Office Central team.
  • Take charge of project/activity documentation such as taking pictures and videos.
  • Deliver/submit project evaluation reports of all conducted activities.
  • Prepare a volunteer hour report.


Qualifications

  • Past leadership experience.
  • Experience in public speaking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Efficient time management.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
