Software Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ, Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, you will consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, full-stack developer experienced with Java, .Net, or Python, modern UI frameworks like React or Angular, and a strong background in AI, including Generative AI operations. This position requires leading a fast-track team to deliver advanced automation and AI/ML solutions within a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Lead a fast-track team to turn around advanced automation and AI/ML solutions
• Navigate the enterprise and rally teams to achieve deliverables
• Coordinate with peers and stakeholders to identify forward-looking solutions
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education

Desired skills:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in full stack Software (Java, .Net, Python) Enterprise Application component design and development
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with the latest UI frameworks (React, Angular, Node)
• 2+ years of AI experience in test or eval driven development including data and error analysis ensuring robust and scalable AI software
• Experience architecting and implementing agentic frameworks for autonomous multi-step reasoning and planning
• Solid grasp of parsing, chunking, indexing and re-ranking
• Experience with Generative AI Operations, and enterprise-scale AI adoption strategies
• Experience in enterprise AI model lifecycle management, AI compliance, and risk mitigation strategies
• Strong understanding of human-centered AI design for workplace applications
• Experience working with globally distributed teams in Agile scrums
• Experience in a large financial institution

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
