Software Developer - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Developer - Onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is an 11+ month contract opportunity.

This role is focused on automation for fraud security and business process workflows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing programs to maintain and control computer systems software, creating software platforms, and fine-tuning final programs. This position involves modifying existing software, designing and developing new software systems, and resolving customer problems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and implement software solutions
• Design software solutions to address business needs
• Write, test, and deploy code
• Prepare technical and procedural documentation for software
• Maintain and debug software
• Contribute to process improvements and customer solutions
• Perform health checks and documentation for automation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field, or equivalent work experience
• 4 to 5 years of experience in software development
• Experience with Power Apps (Microsoft Power Platform) for design, development, and deployment of business applications
• Experience with Automation Anywhere for end-to-end RPA solution design and implementation
• Proficiency with Java and/or Python
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, and ServiceNow
• Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation and system integration
• Strong understanding of process design, documentation, the design process, application development, and user experience (UX) design
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle

Desired skills:

• Experience with APIs and integrations, connecting Power Platform, RPA tools, and backend systems
• Previous banking industry experience

Pay range: $42.44 - $50.44 per hour
