As a Security Officer Bicycle Route Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities across an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and actions taken according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, assisting with visitor directions, policy questions, and/or related support needs throughout the location.
• Document routine activities, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local contacts, and/or first responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
