As a Security Officer - Medical Center in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting details to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, waiting areas, and other assigned areas to help to control access, observe visitor activity, and/or support site protocols.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital morgue experience is required.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
