The Gist
The Schwag Store Associate is responsible for supporting and participating in the smooth operations of the merchandise and POS functions of the store including providing superior customer service, organizing the store & stockroom, and processing ecommerce orders.
- Schedule - Seasonal, part time, varied hours
What You'll Do
- Assists customers with purchases, product questions and product suggestions, both in person and over the phone. Every guest will walk through your store coming and going from their Lagunitas Taproom experience.
- Heavy cash handling; operates and troubleshoots register, POS system
- Adheres to all Store policies and state laws regarding the sale of beer
- Contributes to store's success by communicating trends in merchandise sales and improvement ideas
- Maintain an organized sales floor and stock room; ensures constant, adequate stock of store during events and weekends
- Ensure the highest standards of appearance of store products, shelves, displays, and signage. All items and areas must be clean, presentable, and well merchandised
- Participate in periodic Inventory Audits
What We're Lookin' For
- Must be 21 years of age
- Prior retail & cash handling experience required
- Must be customer service oriented
- Performs duties with emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail
- Works well both in a team setting as well as independently/with minimal supervision
- Responsible Beverage Service Certificate required upon hire.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
Key Relationships
- Reports to the Store Manager
Physical Stuff
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, reach, twist and turn
- Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator
