Here's what we're looking for.

• 5 years of experience in NVOCC operation on a supervisory or managerial level.
• Transportation background to include: experience with ocean/air Import and export.
• A bachelor's Degree is a plus.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of AIR/ OCEAN for both import and export operations.
• Must be computer literate with experience in Outlook, Excel, Word, and online shipping applications.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks at any one time, deal with stress, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to check and reply emails in evenings or as needed.
• Team player, consistent in job performance, and can work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and quickly prepare arrival notices and other shipping related documents.
• Maintain courteous, prompt and efficient customer relations.
• Oversee and complete accurate billing to clients based on pricing established with the clients while ensuring accurate costs and profits are maintained.
• Oversee the pick-up and transfer of shipments with our various offices and partners.
• Establish and maintain all necessary procedures to assure a clean, properly organized, safe and healthy environment for all personnel.
• Establish knowledge of Incoterms and commercial invoice requirements.
• Manage other operations staff.
• Help assist with P & L's.
• Generate reports for the clients.
• Help assist and prepare quotations to the customers.
• Regularly check and evaluate our vendors' fees.
• Assist with bookings.
