Maintenance Clerk - Queens, NY

Royal Waste Services, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safetyconscious Maintenance Clerk to join our team in Queens, NY. This position will provide maintenance parts inventory and parts order processing support to our Maintenance Department at our Queens site.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Conduct self in an appropriate and safe manner, in accordance with District Safety policies.

* Administer and maintain parts and supplies inventories utilizing company maintenance tracking software and other systems.

* Perform annual and monthly stock inventories as directed, including data entry and reconciliation within maintenance software.

* Purchase and track all maintenance parts, goods, and services as directed.

* Administer and maintain the company warranty program through maintenance tracking software.

* Stock shelves, clean, and maintain the maintenance facility to ensure a safe and orderly work area in accordance with District and Company requirements.

* Research parts through parts manuals, OEM resources, and vendor interaction.

* Perform clerical duties as required.

* Load and unload parts and supplies from company, vendor, or delivery vehicles.

* Operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts and supplies as needed.

* Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: Starting at $23.00-$25 an hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-6:00 PM; Saturday, 7:00 AM-1:00 PM

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

* Work environment will mostly be indoors in the shop, with occasional outdoor or ontheroad tasks.

* Noise level is usually moderate.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.

* Spanish language skills a plus.

* Basic knowledge of truck components in order to process parts inventory and order records.
