The Opportunity: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern to assist the Director of Food & Beverage in supporting the daily operations and large-scale experiences of the Club.

This internship offers a structured, hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to private club leadership, operational strategy, and event execution. The selected candidate will develop practical management skills while contributing to the seamless delivery of exceptional member experiences.



Duties and Functions



  • Operational Coordination: Assist with completing daily operational checklists and conducting readiness audits. They will review event timelines, facilitate effective cross-department communication, and support the planning and execution of club-wide events.
  • Systems & Process Management: Will have the opportunity to observe how scheduling systems and labor forecasting are managed, assist in updating standard operating procedure (SOP) documents, and participate in operational meetings and leadership briefings. Additionally, they will learn the fundamentals of budget tracking and cost management.
  • Member Experience Flow: Evaluate service touchpoints and the overall member journey, help identify operational bottlenecks, and contribute to tracking feedback and implementing service improvement initiatives.
  • Golf & Event Operations: Assist with tournament logistics and registration, support the operational setup for major club events, and coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution.
  • Administrative & Data Support: Will track daily metrics such as attendance, revenue, and labor, assist with compiling weekly operational reports, and supervise the coordination and documentation of vendor activities.


Internship Learning Plan & Development Goals



  • Week 1-2: Club Immersion

    • Introduction to private club operations model.
    • Shadow department heads.
    • Review organizational structure and SOPs.


  • Week 3-6: Cross-Department Integration

    • Participate in operations meetings.
    • Assist in managing event logistics and execution.
    • Support audit of service standards.
    • Gain exposure to financial performance tracking.


  • Week 7-9: Independent Initiative

    • Conduct an operational efficiency review.
    • Present recommendations for process improvement.
    • Assist in the coordination for one club event.


  • Week 10: Final Week & Strategic Presentation

    • Deliver Operations Capstone Project.
    • Present findings to the leadership team.
    • Complete career pathway discussion and exit interview.




Qualifications Standards



  • Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Professional communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to leadership and operational management.



This internship provides hands-on exposure to luxury private club operations within a high-end hospitality environment. Students will gain practical experience in leadership, service strategy, and operational coordination while contributing meaningfully to the Club's daily success.
