Job Summary The Janitor - Day Shift is responsible for the general housekeeping and upkeep of office spaces, break rooms, restrooms, and other non-manufacturing areas throughout the Buffalo facility. This role helps maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for employees, visitors, and plant leadership. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping shared spaces clean and well stocked. Principal Duties and Responsibilities * Clean and maintain offices, break rooms, restrooms, and other non-manufacturing areas throughout the facility * Mop floors, vacuum offices, and dust or wipe down desks, counters, tables, and other surfaces * Clean and scrub toilets, sinks, and other restroom fixtures * Clean and sanitize refrigerators, microwaves, ice machines, and other shared break room equipment * Ensure restrooms and break rooms remain stocked with paper products, soap, and other necessary supplies * Maintain inventory of cleaning products and notify leadership when supplies need to be reordered * Report any issues with restroom, break room, or janitorial equipment to the appropriate team * Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning tools and equipment properly * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area * Support plant cleanliness standards and assist with other housekeeping-related duties as assigned * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications * Minimum of 6 months of housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred * Ability to work in a safe manner and follow specific instructions * Ability to use cleaning tools, supplies, and equipment properly * Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings * Ability to identify safety issues or equipment problems in assigned areas * Ability to understand basic verbal and written instructions in English * Ability to work under immediate supervision * Ability to pass a drug test * Ability to work hours assigned by management Compensation & Benefit Information Hourly Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour *pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living Bonus/Incentive Pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, and trip rate bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
