Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To successfully perform this role, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements outlined below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the position.   • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and piping systems in commercial, institutional, industrial, and public buildings according to service orders.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and laborers to ensure all specifications are met and work is completed efficiently.
  • Perform all tasks in compliance with industry standards, plumbing codes, and safety requirements.
  • Review and interpret work orders, completing the requested work with minimal direction, and enter/close work orders within the service software platform.
  • Operate a variety of tools and equipment necessary to perform plumbing and piping work.
  • Request and requisition repair parts and equipment as needed.
  • Follow all established safety procedures and comply with company policies and standards.
  • Consistently adhere to all safety protocols and vehiclerelated policies.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Required Education & Experience:



  • Minnesota State Plumbing license is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing codes and the ability to perform plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installation using proper techniques is required.
  • Working knowledge of low-pressure steam systems is required.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference materials; perform necessary mathematical calculations; and accurately diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Ability to safely and effectively use a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to learn and utilize a service software platform.
  • Must be willing and able to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and emergency oncall assignments as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally, ethically, and in alignment with our values and mission.
  • RPZ license is preferred.


Other Details:



  • This role will support the Grand Rapids, MN territory and surrounding areas.
  • Must join Local 589 union.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and remain in good standing in accordance with company driving policy.
  • All offers of employment are expressly contingent upon the satisfactory completion, in accordance with Company policy, of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Compensation & Benefits:



  • Wages and other benefits are paid in accordance with the Local 589 Chapter Collective Bargaining Agreement.
