Material Handler

The Material Handler will work with the Mazak Purchasing Agents on a daily basis regarding suppliers and shipments. They will also keep records to help with inventory control, handle invoices, and help with loading and unloading of shipments in the receiving department.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* Material / Parts delivery to various areas and offices areas in an efficient manner.
* Data Input for requested parts navigating utilizing multiple operating systems.
* Manage all necessary paperwork upon shipment receipt.
* Unload material from incoming shipments.
* Inspect all contents for damages and accuracy.
* Collaborate with various Mazak Purchasing agents regarding suppliers, and shipments.
* Maintain documents Safety check sheets and invoices.
* Clerical Inventory control management.
* Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.
* Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
* Identify and label materials and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory.
* Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, pulling, packing, and loading.
* Build Kit/Pallet with finished products for delivery to Assembly floor.
* Identifying kit location, building, loading, and deliver kit/Pallet.
* Operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and assorted material Handling equipment.
* Perform and report cycle counts.
* Comply with all Mazak AS/RS and warehouse safety rules and guidelines.

Education/Certification:
* High School Diploma and equivalent.

Skills:
* Overhead crane and forklift experience.
* Basic computer skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to work proficiently in a team-based environment.
