We are seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our team at our program in Coraopolis, PA.



Job Responsibilities:



  • Effectively partner with recruiters completing High Volume interview process to establish effective sourcing
    strategies for each recruit.
  • Act as the on-site point of contact for new hires from offer acceptance through their first 90 days of employment
    Coordinate and support onboarding activities for staff, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all pre-hire
    and day one requirements
  • Partner with Enterprise and Divisional Training to guide new hires through orientation logistics, required
    paperwork, system access, and compliance steps
  • Monitor new hire readiness and communicate start status updates to Administration, hiring managers and
    Operation leadership
  • Provide consistent, hands-on support for new hires during their first weeks of employment answering questions
    and reinforcing expectations outlined by respective hiring managers
  • Conduct 2 week, 30-day, 60- day and 90- day check-in interviews to assess engagement, identify early issues,
    and support retention efforts with good communication with respective hiring managers
  • Maintain accurate onboarding and retention tracking in required systems and reporting
  • Ongoing communication with Talent Acquisition Staff to reconcile openings, communication of transfers,
    placement of temporary to permanent staffing and vacancies, and any other day to day staffing needs or issues
  • Deliver a positive, organized and compliant onboarding experience that supports operational staffing needs
    and reduces early turnover
  • Qualify the specific needs of each recruit with hiring manager to ensure best possible slate of candidates.
  • Maintain and update employee rosters for all residential staff, residential management and ancillary
    departmental staff
  • Maintain and adhere to transfer request process, ensuring all required credentials and trainings are completed
    and setting transfer dates between settings and liaison with supervisory staff
  • Complete and conduct tours with potential candidates as requested
  • Ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience and employment brand on behalf of Merakey.
  • Attend networking group meetings as needed to expand reach of sourcing. (community hiring events, job fairs,
    school career days etc)
  • Attend hiring events as scheduled and provide support with onboarding tasks
  • Creating requisitions for current listing of existing openings.
  • Provides clear, concise reports and communicates effectively both orally and in writing.
    Other duties and special projects as assigned
