About the Role We are seeking a *Clinical Technician (ClinTech)* to support our Respiratory Therapists with equipment setup, patient education, and troubleshooting services.
*Work Environment:* Onsite branch location with local travel to hospitals and assisted living facilities Key Responsibilities * Work directly with Respiratory Therapists and Program Managers to provide instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory equipment * Educate patients and caregivers on proper use, care, and cleaning of respiratory equipment (CPAP, BiPAP, Oxygen, Nebulizers, etc.) * Set up medical equipment at hospitals, assisted living facilities, and branch location * Explain insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility clearly and compassionately * Assist patients into a seated position when needed * Complete all required company, insurance, and government documentation accurately and on time * Ensure delivery tickets, safety checklists, patient receipts, and equipment instructions are properly completed and filed * Adhere to HIPAA and company compliance standards * Serve as a Customer Service Representative when not on patient visits * Answer inbound calls and place outbound calls and emails to patients and referral sources * Obtain, review, and verify referral information to create orders and schedule equipment delivery * Route calls appropriately and follow up as needed to ensure patient satisfaction Schedule & Training * Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM * Handson training with management (approximately one month before operating independently) * During the contract period, work will primarily be based at the branch location with training for eventual field support * Travel varies based on patient needs (some weeks minimal travel; other days may include multiple visits) * Company vehicle provided once direct Required Qualifications * *1+ years of customer service or administrative experience* in an office, medical, or insurance environment * *Medical or clinical **experience* (Medical Assistant, CNA, Insurance Verification, or similar) * Experience working *oneonone with customers or patients* * *Strong verbal communication skills and confidence explaining medical equipment, insurance coverage, and financial responsibility* * *Ability to understand and troubleshoot technical medical equipment with strong attention to detail* * *High level of empathy, patience, and professionalism* * *No medical licensure required* - equipment training will be provided * Ability to lift up to *50 lbs* * *Ability to assist patients into a seated position* Why Join Us? * Familybuilt and familyrun culture * Supportive training environment * Company outings and branded gear * *Full intent to convert this role to direct hire* *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coon Rapids, MN. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
