If so, apply today! Barrett Paving Materials is seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator in Jamesville, NY to produce hot mix asphalt and other mixes for road construction and maintenance. The operator will maintain plant equipment, lead repairs, and ensure quality products while working with Quality Control personnel Main Responsibilities Receive and fulfill customer orders for asphalt, ensuring accurate product delivery Perform preventive maintenance on the plant, including planning, documentation, and recording scheduled maintenance, and respond to mechanical breakdowns or malfunctions in a timely manner Maintain a clean and organized plant, including the operator's shack, inside and out Manage inventory of materials, such as additives, fuel, and liquid asphalt, to meet daily production needs Assist in establishing maintenance budgets and procedures to optimize plant operations Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies Continuously improve safety and productivity at the facility to maximize efficiency and performance Compensation $25.00 - $33.00 per hour Skills Prior experience in a similar role in plant operation Valid New York State driver's license Strong mechanical ability Benefits Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) match Life insurance and AD&D coverage Access to Teladoc and health advocate services And many more!
