Job Description
Business Operations Manager

We're seeking a Business Operations Manager to drive branch performance by improving operational efficiency and supporting financial goals. This role ensures adherence to company processes and procedures, serves as a key liaison between branch and corporate teams, and leads the implementation of operational initiatives to enhance overall performance.


Key Responsibilities




  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs by overseeing daily, weekly, and monthly branch processes



  • Monitor and analyze branch performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement



  • Review and process GP Batch Reports, investigate exceptions, and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams



  • Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) through branch scorecards and take action to address performance gaps



  • Partner with branch leadership to achieve financial targets, including labor management, expense control, EBITDA, and flow-through



  • Support inventory management initiatives, including analysis, process adherence, and optimization of excess inventory



  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and corporate programs at the branch level, ensuring effective implementation and adoption



  • Foster strong communication and collaboration across branch departments and corporate teams



  • Provide analytical support for annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes



  • Promote and sustain a strong safety culture across branch operations



  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of team members



  • Assist with technical troubleshooting, dispute resolution, and special projects (e.g., customer audits)



  • Conduct regular visits to warehouse locations to gather feedback and ensure alignment



  • Support change management efforts by driving adoption of operational improvements



  • Assist in preparing and reviewing capital expenditure (CAPEX) requests




Qualifications & Skills




  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills



  • Proven leadership and coaching abilities



  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities



  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment



  • Strong organizational and time management skills



  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and data analysis)



  • Experience with ERP systems and general Microsoft Office applications
