Keysight's Global Solution Enablement (GSE) organization is seeking an expert-level Software Solution Architect to strengthen the role of software in complex customer solutions. This role will help expand the use of test automation and lab orchestration platforms, ensure solutions align with secure software frameworks and EU Cyber Resilience Act (EU-CRA) requirements, and elevate software development capability across GSE and Keysight's Solution Engineering Organization (SEO).

Global Solution Enablement is a customer-facing organization enabling differentiated solutions designed to meet each customer's unique needs. The innovative solutions we develop span the breadth of Keysight's addressable technologies. We are a transformative and learning organization enabling our Solution Engineers to engage in solution selling while allowing our industry teams to scale their solutions across their ecosystems. We are trusted advisers, solving unique, challenging problems leading to success for our customers and Keysight.

This role will increase Keysight's ability to deliver software-driven solutions, meet emerging regulatory requirements, and scale software capability across the GSE / SEO organization.


Responsibilities

Expand Solution Value Through Increased Automation Software Adoption in Solutions

  • Architect solutions that leverage test automation and lab orchestration platforms, including Pathwave Test Automation & Velocity Lab Orchestration software.
  • Identify opportunities to increase the scope, efficiency, and value of Keysight solutions using Keysight's test automation and lab orchestration software frameworks.
  • Translate customer test workflows into automated, scalable test environments.
  • Create reusable software architectures and frameworks that solution teams can apply across similar customer engagements.

Establish Secure Software Frameworks (EU-CRA)

  • Implement secure-by-design software architecture practices aligned with EU-CRA and modern secure development frameworks.
  • Define reference architectures and solution templates that incorporate security and vulnerability management.
  • Ensure software compliance considerations are addressed early in solution proposals and designs.

Build Software Capability Across GSE & SEO

  • Introduce modern development practices including automation frameworks, modular architectures, and code reuse to GSE / SEO. This person will be a key coach / mentor to our worldwide software teams.
  • Is an implementor, can execute and then transfer best practices from Keysight R&D software teams into software solution architects and engineers worldwide.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate solution development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or graduate degree in a STEM discipline (i.e. Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, ...).
  • Has experience implementing quality and regulatory policy into software development lifecycle.
  • Proven experience in software programming and test automation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C# or C++, with a focus on remote control and automation of test equipment (SCPI language, VISA Libraries, etc).
  • Experience with script-based programming languages, preferably Python.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Inquisitive and curious.
  • Methodical and detail oriented.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

California Pay Range MIN $215,180.00 MIDPOINT $286,900.00 MAX $358,630.00
