About this Role - Yard Shipping & Receiving Agent

We are looking for a talented individual that would be responsible for providing a wide variety of shop and yard support for drilling construction projects.

What You'll Do

- Yard management of tooling and prep tools for work.

- Receive daily deliveries (e.g., FedEx), verify contents against packing slips/POs, label and store in the correct locations, and resolve discrepancies

- Load/Offload trailers and trucks; move pallets and tooling between shop, yard, and trucks using forklift/front end loader

- Assist with light fabrication of various small tooling (basic welding/cutting as qualified), tool repairs, and general shop housekeeping to keep work areas safe and efficient.

- Make sure tooling is organized and well maintained

- Deliver materials and tools to job sites or vendors

- Perform heavy lifting of equipment or tools

- Perform warehouse work such as maintaining inventories, moving pallets, stocking shelves, operating a forklift

- Performs routine organizing, cleaning, maintaining and other general laborer responsibilities for the fabrication shop

What You'll Bring

- Demonstrate multi-tasking and organizational skills

- Strong mechanical aptitude

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Ability to operate front end loader, forklifts/yard equipment safely

- Able to obtain a CDL drivers or chauffeur's license preferred

- Ability to communicate effectively, show initiative, and fit into a team environment

- Welding Skills preferred

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- 1-3 years of construction, general laborer and/or welding experience preferred

- Regular lifting of 50-75 lbs, frequent bending/stooping; work across shop, warehouse, and outdoor yard environments
