*MUST HAVE: **Need to have lead or training experience* *Need to be really strong in EPIC Cadence Module which is the scheduling module* *Strong organizational and timemanagement skills* *Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping* *Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines* *Effective written and verbal communication skills* *Proficiency with computer systems, databases, and learning management systems* *Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and nonclinical staff* *Description* The Education Coordinator supports hospital staff education and training programs by coordinating classes, maintaining education records, supporting onboarding and ongoing competency requirements, and assisting with regulatory and accreditation compliance. This role works closely with clinical leaders, educators, and hospital departments to ensure staff education is well organized, documented, and aligned with hospital and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Education & Training Support Coordinate and support staff education, orientation, and competency programs for hospital employees. Assist with scheduling, tracking, and documenting required education, inservices, and training sessions. Support onboarding activities for new hires related to education and training requirements. Records & Compliance Maintain accurate education and training records in learning management systems and employee files. Track completion of mandatory education and follow up on outstanding requirements. Support compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory standards related to staff education. Coordination & Communication Serve as a point of contact for staff and leaders regarding education requirements and schedules. Communicate education updates, deadlines, and requirements to departments. Collaborate with educators, department leaders, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to ensure training needs are met. Administrative & Reporting Support Prepare reports related to education completion, compliance, and audit readiness. Assist with preparation for surveys, audits, and inspections related to staff education. Maintain organized files, databases, and documentation for education activities. Additional Responsibilities Provide general administrative support to the Staff Education department. Assist with special projects related to education, training, and professional development. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
