The Learning Experience Instructional Designer 3 position is responsible for managing the hybrid and online graduate course development project for the Rady School of Management and is the content matter expert on Rady Canvas and online course development. This position oversees the conversion of existing in-person graduate courses to hybrid/online, development of new hybrid/online courses, and the maintenance and assessment of the existing hybrid/online courses. Working closely with Rady faculty, Rady leadership, campus partners, and external vendors, the position is responsible for prioritizing and monitoring the completion of a wide variety of project tasks. This position ensures that the timeline of course development is on track and correctly prioritized and tracks development to ensure that the needs of the department, program, and students are being met. In addition, the position provides appropriate guidance to faculty regarding hybrid course development and improvements, using active listening skills to understand their requirements and concerns, and using instructional design knowledge to find solutions. The position serves as the expert at Rady on Canvas, our learning management system and provides guidance on its use along with any necessary integrations. Together with graduate instructional support staff, creates and maintains Canvas pages for all Rady graduate courses, and ensures that information is accurate. Specifically, create Canvas pages for each incoming cohort of students, add new incoming students to RadyReady (orientation onboarding Canvas course), and manage the enrollment/drop process in Canvas. This position will also serve as member of the Rady Educational Technology Committee providing guidance and evaluation of learning technology needs and requests and will work with Rady IT and faculty leadership to implement approved learning technology tools.

Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $71,600 - $127,400 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $34.29 - $61.02 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
