Security Officer - Patrol Driving Role

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driving Role in Bermuda Dunes, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will drive and conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to resident concerns with strong customer service and communication. You will document activities using a computer and/or tablet and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, amenities, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Control access to the community by monitoring gates and/or entry points, verifying authorization when required, and directing visitors to appropriate locations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or public services as needed.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate updates to the site team, and assist with basic resident service requests within post guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
