Production Associate

Job Overview

We are seeking reliable Production Associates to support fruit and vegetable processing operations. This role involves preparing, cutting, packaging, and handling fresh produce in a refrigerated, food-safe production environment. Work is repetitive and fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and adherence to strict food safety standards.

Pay Rate

Base Pay (1st Shift): $10.00/hour
30-Day Base Increase: $10.25/hour

Attendance Bonus (added to base pay)

Employees who maintain good attendance earn an additional hourly premium:

• +$0.75/hour for all regular hours worked
• +$1.13/hour for overtime hours worked

What This Means for You

• Starting effective pay: $10.75/hour (base $10.00 + $0.75 attendance bonus)
• After 30 days: $11.00/hour (base $10.25 + $0.75 attendance bonus)
• Overtime hours earn an even higher premium rate

We also offer a few higher-pay positions within the facility, so there is opportunity to move into roles with increased pay.

Schedule (1st Shift – Monday through Saturday)

• Cutting Department: 5:30 AM until production ends
• Packaging Department: 6:30 AM until production ends

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fruits and vegetables using hand-held cutting tools
• Operate equipment such as vegetable dryers, electronic scales, and packaging machines
• Package finished products, ensuring correct weight, code dating, and seal integrity
• Build boxes and palletize finished goods
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Report any illness or contamination risks before starting work
• Immediately report any contamination or safety concerns to a supervisor
• Follow all company safety procedures and report unsafe conditions

Work Environment

• Refrigerated food production facility
• Repetitive tasks requiring standing for long periods
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• No experience required – on-the-job training provided
• Experience in food processing is a plus
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Team player with good coordination and manual dexterity
• Dependable and adaptable
