Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced highly skilled and personable Boat Captain with a 100 Ton license to lead both deep sea fishing charters and dolphin tours. The ideal candidate will have extensive boating experience, a strong understanding of local waters, and a proven track record of excellent customer service. As the face of our charters, the captain must ensure safety, navigation, and a positive experience for all guests. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate and navigate the vessel for deep sea fishing and dolphin-watching charters Communicate effectively with crew and guests to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience Monitor weather conditions and make sound decisions regarding trip safety Lead fishing trips, including locating fish, anchoring/drifting, and advising guests on fishing techniques Educate and engage guests during dolphin tours with knowledge of local marine wildlife and environment Ensure vessel maintenance and cleanliness before and after each trip Handle emergency situations professionally and according to safety protocols Maintain accurate logs as required by the Coast Guard and company policy Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively Qualifications: Valid U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License (100-ton necessary) CPR and First Aid certified Clean driving record and background check Minimum 2 years’ experience as a charter boat captain preferred Strong knowledge of local waters, fish species, and dolphin activity patterns Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor, marine environment Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work long hours, including weekends and holidays Compensation & Benefits: Competitive pay + tips Bonus opportunities based on customer satisfaction and trip success Opportunity to work in a dynamic, ocean-based environment How to Apply: Ideal would be to call Captain Larry at 910-367-6417 You can also submit your resume or contact information when you click the Apply Now Button recblid zqvibijq1m4ck41npzlb2t40j8mk8h
