As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests and store teams with clear communication and professional customer service. This post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification, giving you a dynamic role where integrity, teamwork, and a people-first culture guide every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to store staff and guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales floors, back-of-house areas, entrances, exterior perimeters, and parking areas; working conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, theft-related incidents, and/or medical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor cameras and other security-related systems, control access to restricted areas, and help to deter unauthorized activity through high-visibility presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in written reports, and follow Allied Universal and client protocols for evidence handling, incident escalation, and/or use-of-force reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
