The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Drive the World's Largest Tech Event: Dreamforce Operations and Production Lead. Dreamforce is Salesforce's flagship gathering that captures the passion and momentum of our global network of customers, partners, and employees. We're looking for a rockstar leader to architect and execute the internal and external strategy that ensures Dreamforce is the most impactful and seamless event on the planet.

You will act as the critical connective tissue, developing event strategy, managing operations, and partnering across a complex ecosystem of internal teams and external agencies. We need a proactive and courageous communicator to streamline processes, drive efficiencies, and bring high-profile programs to brilliant life. The ideal candidate excels in a high-pressure, matrixed environment, leveraging unwavering flexibility, decisive prioritization, and rigorous evaluation skills. This is where you make your mark.

Responsibilities: I. Strategy & Flawless Execution
  • Co-create and execute the Dreamforce vision and strategy alongside leadership and key stakeholders, maintaining a laser focus on flawless, high-quality delivery.
  • Oversee and direct all pre-event planning, onsite logistics, and post-event wrap-up.
  • Ensure all event messaging, brand representation, and real estate allocation across the Dreamforce campus are consistent with the Salesforce brand and product positioning.
II. Cross-Functional Leadership & Communication
  • Serve as the central hub for managing all internal and external stakeholders (including strategic experiences, creative, demand generation, event tech, social, and sponsorships) to drive strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and final decisions.
  • Motivate and direct an extended team of strategic experience and logistical experts toward collective event objectives and operational excellence.
  • Lead high-performing cross-functional teams to ensure event KPIs and audience expectations are consistently exceeded, upholding the highest standards of the Dreamforce brand.
  • Comfortably and effectively communicate and present complex strategies to corporate executives, with an ability to distill information (experience with Amazon-style narrative writing is a plus).
  • Manage external relationships with agencies and vendors, including venue contracting, procurement, and Purchase Order (PO) processing.
III. Financial & Operational Management
  • Manage the multi-million dollar event budget, including investment strategy, identifying funding gaps, and executive financial communications.
  • Manage multiple, complex, and simultaneous timelines in an extremely collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • IV. Measurement & Reporting
  • Define, track, and deliver on comprehensive event goals, measurements, and metrics, including post-event surveys.
  • Evaluate event performance, track post-event ROI, and generate detailed wrap-up reports for leadership.
V. Center of Excellence Leadership
  • Lead two strategic Centers of Excellence (CoEs): Employee Engagement and Housing & Venue, establishing best practices and repeatable processes across the entire events portfolio.
  • Employee Engagement CoE: Own the employee staffing strategy and execution for all major strategic events, ensuring effective utilization of internal talent, seamless staff operations and exec communication.
  • Housing and Venue CoE: Manage the overarching hotel and venue strategy and execution, including vendor management, high-level negotiations, contracting standards, and optimizing attendee housing and logistical flow.
Minimum qualifications: What is absolutely necessary to be considered?
  • Minimum 15+ years of progressive, large-scale Event Operations and Marketing leadership experience, with a significant tenure in the B2B high-tech industry.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing multi-million dollar event budgets and proven financial acumen necessary to drive investment strategy and operational efficiency.
  • Proven history of successful cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management in a complex, matrixed organization. Exceptional leadership and mentorship skills focused on developing high-performing, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Exceptional executive presence with proven ability to communicate and present complex strategy and performance metrics to C-suite leadership.
