This is an on-site, individual contributor role located in Elyria, Ohio.

Summary

The Digital & IT Analyst supports and improves business processes across all business domains by defining, configuring, testing, training, and supporting technology-enabled solutions. The role blends business analysis and data analysis, translating requirements into actionable system changes and insights, and planning the processes necessary to execute effective solutions. The analyst ensures the integrity and reliability of data, transaction processing, and reporting systems, including security and resource monitoring, and leads moderate-scope projects under limited supervision, performing critical analysis to inform decisions. This role is based in Elyria, Ohio.

Essential Functions

  • Provide analytical guidance on applications and technologies that impact business operations; translate business needs into effective IT solutions.
  • Analyze data to recommend process simplifications and cost reductions; define and refine KPIs and reporting requirements.
  • Support a mixed application landscape of internally developed applications, commercial off-the-shelf solutions, and a mid-size data warehouse for business reporting.
  • Develop, integrate, and deploy technology, data warehouse, ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework, and reporting solutions to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Document requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans; coordinate and support UAT.
  • Develop and deliver training to support process changes and new technology introductions; assist in mentoring new team members.
  • Establish procedures, standards, and documentation for proper utilization of technologies; maintain solution and process documentation.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, resource monitoring, and reliable transaction processing and reporting systems.
  • Plan and manage moderate-scope projects, coordinating cross-functional teams across IT and multiple business domains; drive scope, schedule, dependencies, risk mitigation, and change management to successful delivery.
  • Support lean and high-performance team initiatives; contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Provide after-hours technical support as needed; occasional overnight travel to remote locations for solution implementations.
  • Willingness to cross-support the Help Desk/Service Desk as needed; experience in end-user support and ticket triage is a plus.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Data Analytics.
  • 2+ years of relevant IT experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (querying, data validation, performance troubleshooting).
  • Power BI expertise (data modeling, DAX, Power Query/M) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas).
  • Solid understanding of system design, data modeling, and analysis principles; ability to translate business processes into clear requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect and prepare data, analyze findings, and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present technical topics to non-technical audiences and facilitate stakeholder workshops.
  • Strong prioritization and execution skills in deadline-driven environments; comfortable managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills; builds trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Keen attention to detail, with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Learning agility, adaptability, and leadership.
  • Self-motivated and proactive; demonstrates initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Foundational project management skills (scope, schedule, risk tracking).

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) for workflow/reporting automation.
  • Willingness to cross-support the Help Desk/Service Desk; experience with end-user support and ticket triage is a plus.
  • Exposure to enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP) and data governance/quality practices.
  • Familiarity with IT change management processes.
