Position Summary Our Wire Braider & Winder Operators are responsible for the set-up and operation of all wire twisters, winders and braiders. This is a 3rd shift position. 3rd shift hours are Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am. Approximately 8 hours of overtime a week is expected. Candidate will need to be available to train on 2nd shift for 1-3 months, M-F, 2pm-10pm. Responsibilities Job Description/Principal Accountabilities 1. Operation and set-up of wire braiding machines consists of transferring wire from shipping spools to bobbins suitable for use in braiding machines. Operator must maintain the condition of the bobbins prior to winding. Qualifications Education, Training and Experience * High School diploma or GED required Knowledge and Skills Physical Demands Work Environment Manufacturing plant: Exposure to moving parts on a line, as well as moving equipment throughout the plant.
