Henry Ford Medical Center - New Center One offers a variety of specialty and diagnostic services including allergy, dermatology, endocrinology, pediatrics, rheumatology, sleep disorders and women's health. There is also on-site laboratory, radiology and pharmacy services. The center is on West Grand Boulevard three blocks east of Henry Ford Hospital. Henry Ford Health has been providing pediatric services to our community for more than 100 years. Henry Ford Pediatrics is dedicated to the care of children in Michigan. We strongly believe that the provision of care is not limited to ambulatory clinics and hospitals but extends to the child's family and community. We are committed to our Mission Statement 'to give every child a chance at life'. And as part of that pledge we are continuing to grow and improve our expansive clinical services in both primary care as well as all the specialties across all age groups for pediatrics ranging from the newborns to adolescent care. Our health care teams work in close collaboration with our adult counterparts to provide that excellence in care, that then continues into adulthood. Summary Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. 8 providers, 2 RNs, 9 MA's and RN supervisor at this location Location: Henry Ford New Center One 3031West Grand Blvd Detroit, MI 48202 Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM (with 1 Saturday about every three months) *Opportunity to pick up hours/cover other locations (Hamtramck and Harbor town) Benefits: Full-Time Benefits EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BSN preferred. Administering Vaccinations Pediatric experience preferred. Epic experience preferred. In Basket experience preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to Manage in basket, triage & phones Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. At least 1 year as a Registered Nurse CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BCLS). Additional Information
