Position Purpose/Summary: The Strategy Intern will support the Chief Strategy and Governance Officer in driving strategic initiatives and governance activities across the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic planning, analysis, and project management within the Financial Services industry.

Title of position: Strategy Intern

Position Type: Approximately 30 hours per week.

Compensation: $ 17.30 per hour.

Location: Corporate Headquarters: 3301 Country Club Road, Endwell, NY

Responsibilities/duties:



  • Conduct research to support strategic decision-making and governance evolution.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and briefings.
  • Support the development, tracking and communication of strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Participate in meetings and document key action items and outcomes.
  • Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by manager.


Qualifications:



  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), experience with AI preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Interest in corporate strategy, governance, and organizational development.
